15 Ways to Celebrate Fall With Family!

Happy Fall, Dear Friends!

"It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year". I love Fall. I love the cozy feeling that pumpkin spice everything brings, and the warmth of blankets and football games. I love that the days are shorter. I love that life slows down a little bit as we get back into a routine after wild and free summers.

F. Scott Fitzgerald said it perfectly, "Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.”

I love this season.

Every year I attempt to do one of those "Fall Bucket Lists" you see on Pinterest. Most, years, I fail. Life gets in the way of this beautiful season. Work, school, to-do lists, and obligations cause me to miss the season I love.

Last year, I created my own Fall Bucket List and I focused intently on not allowing "life" to get in the way. I was happy that Asher and I accomplished at least half of the list. YAY!

This year looks very different from last year. The last twelve months have flown by with a blink of an eye. I wish everything would slow down. I wish life would just settle a bit instead of whisking us away into another month or season. My life is definitely in a more unsettled state this year as we are transitioning our jobs, careers, and business'.

I don't know about you, but I am leaning on the magic of Autumn more than ever. I need to be reminded of "the good 'ol days" when all we had to worry about was school supplies, math homework, and Homecoming Football Games. Are you with me?

This year, my husband and I are focused on being intentional about our time together as a family. We want to make time to make memories. We want to embrace a slower pace this season and really savor all that The Lord has given us.

This year, Steven and I created this list together. We sat and really thought about what we wanted to add, and how we wanted to make this season special. I hope that you can join us in making time to make memories. I am learning more and more each day that the moments we create with our families are the ones that will last. I encourage you, in our busy lives, to make time for them. The kids won't be little forever. You won't be able to jump in piles of leaves forever.

Eventually, this season, like all the others will pass us by . . . so make memories, grow stronger roots, and just have some fun!

We would love to share your memories with you! Tag us on INSTAGRAM using #FelicityFall or share to our wall on Facebook. We cannot wait to join you in making memories this season!
